Holy Week this year begins on Palm Sunday, April 5 which celebrates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. On Maundy Thursday Jesus celebrated his Last Supper with his disciples. He was betrayed by Judas and turned over to the Jewish and Roman authorities. On Good Friday Jesus was found guilty although He bore no guilt. He was nailed to a cross and gave up His life for our sins. His body was taken down from the cross after His death and was laid in a newly hewn tomb. On Easter Sunday the tomb was found to be open and empty. Later Jesus appeared to His disciples and many others. He had conquered both sin and death! Hallelujah!
