This week Pastor Ed will continue our sermon series in chapter 4 of Paul’s letter to the Church at Ephesus. He will challenge the CHURCH to “Use their “SUPERPOWERS” for the Good of Sullivan County and Beyond !”

SUNDAY SCHOOL is ON BREAK for the Summer – but TAKE NOTE BELOW of several NEW GROWTH Opportunities at VBC !!!

A “Celebration of Life Service” for John Lusk will be held on FRIDAY August 3rd at 6pm at VBC.

There will be Visitation with the family from 4 – 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall, as well as after the Service.

Family Life’s ART of PARENTING: Aiming Your Child Toward the Heart of God

Two options:

Mondays at Dave/Robbi Philips, Liberty – beginning July 9th at 6:30pm

Thursdays at VBC beginning July 12th at 6:00pm.

FamilyLife’s Art of Parenting is an eight-session, video-driven small-group series designed to help parents raise their children

from a biblical foundation. This series is ideal for parents, stepparents, single parents, and expectant parents, and includes

helpful material for raising children of all ages. Anyone willing to invest time and effort in their parenting approach will benefit. The

material is biblically based, but extensive Bible knowledge is not required to participate.

The Thursday Morning LADIES GROUP will resume on JULY 5th at 10:30 in the VBC Office. Pastor Robin will be leading a study on the Book of Philippians.

We will be starting a GRIEFSHARE Ministry for those dealing with the loss of a loved. It will be led by Kelly Drann and will begin on SATURDAY, JULY 7th at 10am at VBC and will meet the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.

The Thursday Morning Men’s Group will resume on July 12 at 6:15am. We are studying the Parables of Jesus. All men are welcome !!

We have TWO upcoming Baptism/Dedication opportunities on Sunday July 15th and Sunday July 29th.

Interested in MEMBERSHIP at VBC ? We have a 2-session Membership Class on Sunday July 29th and Sunday August 5th at 9am.

This week Pastor Ed will continue our series on the Letter to the Ephesians – focusing on the RISKS we take with our Spirituality. Come find out if you’re doing any RISKY BUSINESS !!

This week we will also CELEBRATE the LORD’S SUPPER – AND dedicate TWO children to the LORD 🙂 🙂
